Machine Oil

Death Industrial

Machine Oil is an unapologetically electronic mix of drone, noise, and industrial beats. The sound is distorted and heavy, and tempos are slower, but there are still melodies woven throughout the music. Sometimes minimalist, sometimes a wall of sound, Machine Oil is never predictable and always thought-provoking.

Everett Dolgner started Machine Oil as a modular synth project, and it quickly evolved into something more. It is designed to be an all-encompassing auditory experience, with layers of sound that wash over the listener. Machine Oil live is an experience that is never the same twice. Everett has said that "Machine Oil is following the model set by Martin Atkins with Pigface. Anyone can be a member of Machine Oil, even just for a night. Sometimes it is only me improvising, sometimes there is a full band with a setlist. You never know what is going to happen."

Machine Oil releases experimental, death industrial, industrial metal, and industrial drone music.

Everett currently lives in Tucson, Arizona, following a stint in Berlin, and he is now a part of the city’s emerging experimental music scene.
